How to play Halloween word search
Mouse, touch or keyboard
Drag from the first to the last letter, or tap both ends. A word must run in a straight line. You may select either end first. Keyboard players can Tab between letters and use Enter or Space to pick both ends.
Choose your difficulty
Easy has 6 short words in an 8 × 8 grid, forward across or down. Medium has 10 words in a 12 × 12 grid with diagonals. Hard has 14 words in a 14 × 14 grid, including backward directions. Switching difficulty opens a different puzzle.
A helpful nudge
A little hint marks the first letter of one unfound word. Reveal answers shows all word paths for practice. Revealed games are not recorded as completions.
A puzzle to share
Copy puzzle link includes the difficulty and seed. Open the link to reproduce the same letters. Progress stays on each device. Daily puzzles change at midnight UTC; a copied link always keeps its original grid.
Print with matching answers
The Print + answer key button sends two sheets to your browser: the current puzzle and its answer key. Choose your printer or Save as PDF. Letter and A4 portrait are supported by the print layout. Nothing is uploaded to create the sheets.
